That's what they told us at indoc. They all go into a pile and get graded by humans, first in, first out, unless you get an email from a Delat pilot. If so, your app is pulled from wherever it is in the pile and graded manually. This was 5+ years ago. I'll check with the hiring folks and see if they'll confirm/deny.
Bottom line for the OP, it really doesn't matter since there's nothing you can do about what each company does. Be honest on your (many) applications and see what happens. Don't sweat what you can't control.
Do you know what happens when they catch and release? Does a highly qualified applicant go back to the bottom of the pile and all the noobs with recent apps get considered before they look at him again?
