Sadly this is what we permit in many industries...see Countrywide, GM, Eastern, WeWork, and a very long list of others. There is no consequence, indeed only a benefit, for failure. This will continue until enough individual voters decide we aren’t going to take it anymore.
My money is on no change, but I’m a jaded boomer. I hope younger folks make a dent in this nonsense.
