Now, more than EVER.. we need to hold the Line.

It's bad enough that hundreds of Trans States Pilots are about to get screwed. Losing years of Quality of Life, Seniority and Pay to maybe start over at Express Jet. But to give OUR aircraft to a non union carrier?

ENOUGH

So, since I know that some of our union officials read these posts-
ANY change to 1-C-1-g where we allow additional 76 seaters WITHOUT a NSNB aircraft on property will not only garner a NO vote from me, I will do everything possible to see that individuals are recalled.

For 8 years now the company HAS had a way to increase the 76seat count. They have refused to follow a provision within our Joint Contract.
Now they are helping to shut down a fellow ALPA Pilot Group while transferring United Holding bought aircraft to a non union carrier?

Simple.
Order the E195E2 and at the same time, offer EVERY Trans States Pilot an interview. Then, when those pilots who pass the interview are placed in the E195E2, you can also add so more 76seaters to whoever you like.
I would love to see those 76seaters go to a Unionized pilot group, but you can only fight so many battles at the same time~

To all my fellow UAL pilots-
Please, start taking about this stuff on layovers. The company obviously has a long range plan and it involves getting more 76 seaters while making our life tougher AND at the same time, doing what they can to hurt our union.. be it mainline or regional.
Guys (and Gals). Start saving a little money for the rainy days ahead. READ the contract. Read the DYK. Talk about this stuff among your fellow pilots.
Do NOT do any work action. Just the contrary- just do YOUR job. Do it per our negotiated contract.
