I Interviewed at Mesaba for Street CA two weeks ago. In the interview I was told there is a $10,000 contract, pro-rated on a monthly basis for one year from completion of training. They don't want people going to Mesaba for a "free type-ride" and then leaving.

I don't think New-Hire FOs have to sign a contract, but could get one when they upgrade.
