I did not question the purpose or benefit of the aforementioned groups. I questioned their connection to the pilot recruitment process. Your reply has only strengthened my previously held belief.



As far as career fairs, any career fair — they do seem to be a rather inefficient, subjective and biased way to initiate the hiring process; regardless of who is hosting them.



And by the way, one doesn’t need to be a minority or be a member of a special interest group to understand the historical implications of discrimination throughout the history of the nation.

You did not question the purpose of the groups. I'm glad that you have a handle on the historical implications of discrimination, truly. You did however, call them "divisive."
