Not if there aren't any classes. You're in line, no one is getting in front of you. This happened in 2014 too. Long wait to start classes due to 737 training requirements. No one will get a seniority number ahead of you that isn't already slated to start before you.
Now as far as bad timing...I got a buddy in exact same shoes. Least you got hired. He's waiting to submit his app because he's worried he'll get a class assigned before his Apr terminal leave.
