We absolutely need to press the issue because that amount of large RJ's only exist because of the flow down LOA. They have always been contingent on that. They can either figure out a pathway for 500-600 pilots to flow to at the top of a regional's list, or they can park 35 large RJ's. Or they can bring them in house. Their choice. That would be a powerful layer of protection against furloughs which benefits every pilot on the list junior to #1, and an even more powerful layer of protection for those actually furloughed if it came to that.

Well worth the "union resources" to fight for considering the extent of its benefit should we prevail (and IMO we would). but even if not, well worth the effort.

Just consider it our scope optimizer.
