agreed. That little amount of money is not going to do nothing to keep captains. They are counting on all the upgrades for increased block hours, but I, like a few others, don’t think I am going to stay for upgrade unless we get a new contract soon. These ULCC have some nice money and pay same for year 1. Hopefully we get a deal soon in next few months. This crunch time for me.
I am planning to stay for upgrade but I'm sending out apps the day I finish OE.
One captain I spoke to made $128K here last year, which is acceptable, but he had to pick up a lot of premium to get that. $128K is like second year Frontier guarantee. Which only proves that nothing has really changed -- it's still better to GTFO of the regionals ASAP, contract or no contract.
