What can be done for these pilots that resigned their jobs for UAL, either through ALPA or some other method? Not everyone is a regional pilot with a 6 month leave of absence (Part 91, 135, military turning down other CJOs)?

The short answer is NADA, zilch, zip. ALPA does not control hiring. I contacted my LEC rep this morning to express my disgust with the companies actions. He can pass it up the food chain, but realistically, I don’t think anything can or will be done.
