I’ve been here 25+ years and Ive never seen the company hire more pilots because someone refused to pick up an open 777 Captain trip. It doesn’t work that way. This type of nonsense comes around every time there is a slowdown. People beat their chests about “flying the contract” but then when they do, some complain they should “fly the contract less”.
