Its time to remember management wants stuff from us. They want you to single engine taxi, leave the APU off, land on runway 29 at Newark, etc. But they are not giving you anything in return (like a new contact) and betraying these new hire pilots in the process. So go ahead and extend, waive and pick up trips. You are only helping the company screw us.
In retrospect, that money was thrown away. The scheme to prop up the stock price failed, and now we are out the cash. Huge mistake by management. Complete waste of that cash that we can’t get back. They made a $9B blunder and should all be fired.
