It may very well be a mistake. Management makes them, but that's really the crux of this. Management rights. My school of thought is this: don't count your chickens til they hatch. The internet or social media shouldn't replace common sense. if the union has or had an enforcement mechanism to FORCE management to have a class they would. No leverage. 23 was a small class. It's just a postponement, not an indefinite cancellation. I think within 45 days or so that class will report. But, when you combine corona virus plus the Max I don't think management is to blame. I don't think it's a big boogey man conspiracy. We need pilots and we need to staff the airline. We're losing over a million dollars a day. It's money, some might argue big money. I don't think this is the last time we'll see a class cancellation. There are other reasons and other factors that may postpone or delay a class. Are there other parts of the airline that have stopped hiring? Inflight? Management? I don't know, just asking..
