Continued decreased demand would lead to inevitable furloughs. I’m confident another airline would buy us before doors are shut, but then again I pray every day (twice on Sunday’s and Feb 29) for another airline to buy us (not southwest).
Pretty sure that Southwest wouldn't buy Hawaiian. Instead, we'd probably let it get liquidated and then hire the people we like since then we'd own that market.
No merger, no seniority fuss, no entitlement, and instead just get good people who are grateful to have a job while weeding out the bad apples. Kinda like what Hawaiian did to Aloha 12 years ago.
