Pure media-driven hysteria. Never let a crisis go to wa$te. Panic dejour. Once thIs subsides, another crisis will invariably replace it. Wall Street makes money when Markets go up or down. The more volatility, the more they make.
Sadly, the airlines will take the brunt but this too will pass. Fwiw I'm buying airline stocks.
