Thats just it.... part of the business plan. We can make 70K if we don't get caught. If we get caught, we'll pay the 35k fine, and still be way ahead. Exactly what was done with those pilots in Europe last Summer. Hired unqualified Pilots, got caught.
Yet after repeated violations, with the same management, it continues to happen. The company pays the fine, " we DID NOT " tell them ( the Pilot / Mechanic ) to do that card comes out. We will retrain them....
In the mean time that person's license takes a violation hit. Now unemployabe elsewhere. Save your license guys. They will continue with their business plan that relys on you breaking the rules for them.
Rumor has it that there are as much as 10 FAA investigations going on now.
Keep reporting people.
Keep flying by the rules.
Don' t get caught up in this for these guys.
