Why? You’re going to be exposed to it eventually.

COVID-19 is our “Spanish flu” and it’s historic. It’s a new virus strain unknown to mankind until now. It is not contained and will spread to 40-70% of the population worse case in one year. Best case 20-60%. The COVID-19 virus will always be with us. Forever. Just like the flu. We don’t really know much about it because there seem to be different strains and it is new. It does not seem to be seasonal based on Chinese data. It may not affect children but they may be carriers. We are not sure. We don’t know a lot. This will sweep through and burn out somewhat as people die and develop immunity. A vaccine will not be available for a year. Eventually there will be 12-18 months because it requires testing. As in: does it work? But it may be like the flu where you have to get a new shot every year.

Enjoy the historical moment.
