IAH does this without a word. I've had it happen numerous times. We always slowed to 200.
PHL will tell you on the ATIS. Its usually not a problem though b/c if you are running that long of a final, they will have you slowed to 190 or 170 anyway.
What is it with the Texas airports trying to burn us? I hear more horror stories about IAH and DFW than anywhere else.
