If you ever feel at risk of anything file it with the FAA and request protection. Its the smartest thing you can do.
If you have recently been offered a ONE WAY TICKET to GSO, but decided to resign instead, then the Inspector Generals' ( IG's) office of the DOT and FAA, are waiting to hear from you. Even if you are still employed, and you are concerned about the Safety of these aircraft, gather the evidince to support your report, and submitt it.
Most of all, it is vital that you do what DavidSpeaks recommends above.
