Initial base assignments are obviously based on operational necessity. Currently, that works in your favor because there are a fair amount of uncovered bases. Guys completing training now are having their pick of multiple slots. You can also lateral to a different base after your initial assignment.

There are a couple 121 FO's that I can think of off-hand that have come and flown 135. Either route you go, it's a personal preference. I came here to be home after every assignment, have every weekend off, and the major holidays - so far it has worked well for me.
