VLOA vs MLOA has benefits ramifications. Just wondering what the historical precedent is.
Unknown, but I've read that SWA just extended to their mil guys the benefit of taking long term mloa without it being counted against their USERRA time. Here's hoping Delta does the same. I'd want documentation of it from the company and I'd dabg sure keep very thorough records on it.

Right, that's why I added the caveat. Just relaying what I saw happen in the mid-2000s, and that was guys come back after furlough, then later ended up taking 5 years of mloa. Call that dude, the DOL, ESGR, or whomever you wish to verify. I don't plan on it ever being an issue since I don't care to go back full time unless there are no other options.
