Coupled with cuts to AA flying, it stands to reason that the company may fall apart at the seams and be unable to fulfill their contractual obligations.
The running joke is that things were supposed to be announced Friday. Also, we are currently staffed at roughly 14-15 pilots per airplane, and plenty of flight attendants. What makes you think we can't fulfill contractual obligations? This COVID-19 hit us at a time when we were heavily staffed during a wind down period, and lets face it TSH runs cheap. Therefore furloughs will happen. It amazes me how gung-ho you guys have been about YOUR airplanes since 2015.
