Reducing carryover is terrible for guys on Reserve. Say now you carryover Rdays and get paid 20 days and get called for 30 hours worth of trips. Get rid of carryover now you are getting paid for 15 days and get called for a lot more than 30. Maybe 60 hours. Twice the work, 75% the pay. Not to mention the disputed pairings, checkrides and crummy weather that no on else wanted to fly. Much bigger hit than the guy with a line that just gets to stay home an extra few days. Plus with age 65 we will be on Reserve forever. Stay away from my small peice of the pie or crack pipe as you call it.
