Furloughs with a large amount of potential sidelined pilots is unlikely. We could start dropping (from the schedule) like flies in a few weeks. Even if we successfully flatten the curve, we will take a huge hit in pilot availability due to contact with know positives. Cargo pilots, truck drivers, etc may be able to work after contact, we won't. Bidding a reserve line expecting to finish your kitchen remodel may not work out like planned. For us WB types used to covering a known departure window, we could have a rude awaking with DH legs to cover a layover sick call.
I claim trademark rights to the term "Corona Thunder". It could make Rolling Thunder look like amateur hour.
50 (Soon to retire balanced by mom’s.)
50 (Soon to retire balanced by dad’s.)
20% (60% by years end)
Of note, they are making FA’s work after known contact. I don’t think it’s
going to work out like they think it will.
