AA isn't doing its part to help. If we don't get an airline bailout package, and many more of us get furloughed because of it, then the lion's share of the blame almost certainly falls on AA.

I could see a scenario where AAL does not get a bailout like UA/DL/WN because of this. back in December it would have been a tough argument to say any of the other 3 were being fiscally irresponsible, not so much with AA. any moderate downturn could have caused AA to cut deep while most the others could have ridden the wave. I just wonder how much sympathy average people will have for this kind of behavior
