I am at 850, same as you CFI/CFII no MEI

JSX is pushing back classes. Also just got an email Tuesday saying 1200tt is now minimum and 1500tt is now competitive.

Don't know about other 135s in this climate, but there are 100s of pilots with 121 time that just got laid off or will get furloughed that are now searching for jobs and more qualified than you.

I qualify for R-ATP at 1000 so I am just chugging along much slower at my flight school while this thing hits us hoping for a federal reduction in student loans and working my regular job. Hopefully I can squeeze in somewhere when the hiring resumes, but this event has me thinking I will not be getting rid of my steady government job anytime soon for the volatility of the airline industry
