Not sure why you say that. What I read struck me as a reasonable attempt to deal with the decrease in flying.
I don’t know if it provides enough cash flow, but neither do you or anyone else outside the top levels of management. I would assume that every other regional has had a similar decrease in their flying, so it’s not like C5 is in any different position.
I am only talking about survival of C5. Unless there is a dramatic upswing in United bookings and a quick restoration of flying, many jobs at every single airline are in jeopardy, even if UAL or C5 or whichever airline you choose to name continue on.
The fate of C5 or XJet probably is more determined by UAL’s fate than most other things.
