This may be the new reality and may be necessary, but you can't have some industries vital and then expect the front line staff to somehow fit in to a lockdown environment.
You need to buy a cooler. Or call the Duty Officer and have extra meals boarded to take along and get a fridge at the hotel. I cannot believe some of the whining around here as we watch every pax pilot in the world get their a$$e$ handed to them. Figure it out, make it work, and count your blessings. Or put your schedule in open time - plenty of folks would be fine with that as well.
