Sounds like your backtracking a little bit......now your concerned about more "airflow"? What happened to being the only "genius" that was looking to reduce particles by 99.97%? You come across as one of those guys that think their smarter than everyone else.
FWIW, I know we have our share of sheep around here, but there is no way I would allow a company "guideline" dictate my decision making in regards to the safety of pax or crew. If its to hot ......run the APU.......if your going into a station that routinely takes forever to hook ground power.......run the APU........ its not like your going to be flogged or something!
