Question: Do you think that the rest of the United employees view pilots any differently than we are currently viewing top management?
I have no problem with the criticism of top management, but realize that our coworkers can/will quickly pivot and make pilots the next target of their wrath. Remember the Summer of Love and C2K. With that in mind, I recommend that 'full pay to the last day' not be something said by pilots to lesser paid coworkers.
Bottom line: While top management may be the first target of wrath, it can quickly pivot to other highly paid employees. And the only other highly compensated group in this industry are the pilots. We make more than middle managers.
