I was 31 in ‘01 too. Was about to land in a Saab 340. And then took years for me to get back. If you’re in this gig because you LOVE flying you’ll be ok. It’ll come back. For young folks still wanting in, do what I did in 92... Call a military officer recruiter. Many can commission you into a flight program. Unless that’s too hard for you (see last quote above).
