Okay but if you furlough the junior pilots, even senior pilots will get screwed because you will be massively understaffed when demand rushes back up. The whole industry is taking a turn for a couple months, maybe more. We will all pay, it's inevitable. I prefer the weather it together approach rather than the ME mindset. Furlough enough and there's downgrades too. I was so senior when I left, the company would have gone out of business before I would be downgraded but I'll gladly work less at full pay to keep paychecks flowing for everyone. The problem is going to be if the country doesn't snap back to the world we lived in just weeks ago, the airlines will crumble and then the pain starts for years to come. Not a good time to be on the bottom of a passenger airline right now, especially with paint of one of the big 3 on the side of your metal.
