If any airline went away in this environment, no one except the employees would notice, however it will be a cold day in hell before a regional airline flys legacy routes with a 737 or a bus. The only type of person who would hope for something like that would be one who had applied to that airline, didn’t make the cut during the interview process(possibly twice), and is now bitter because others have made it.
