I know my hometown has had a ton of local support for our small local restaurants as they have gone to takeout. They will definitely be employing their old wait staff when this is over. It’s been great to see and be a part of.
While I am a big fan of shopping local - Eating out or takeout seems an unnecessary risk if you haven't already had the Corona. No assurances against contamination. If it is food that can be reheated to kill virus - sure - failing that? Not for me.
