It's just a job to me. I wish I could share your sentiment. In fact, most of the time at FL370, I'm just counting down the minutes until TOD so I can get on the ground again lol. As long as they pay me on time, all is good.
I am very much in the same boat. It’s a job for me and the second I start working I am counting the minutes to get back home. I enjoy parts of it however all the nonsense you need to endure to complete the job sucks what little fun is left.
Maybe it will improve at mainline.
