Can ALPA not collectively, as our representative, just say we are standing down until the threat level to crews has been diminished through 1. Proper PPE worn in and around the airports, 2. Proper nutritional availability at both airports and layover hotels, 3. Proper transportation with minimal grouping/maximum social distancing 4. Reduction of CDC NYC from quarantine inplace/Level 3 warnings. Everyone of us is thinking pretty much the same thing about the futility of trying to manage any semblance of a schedule and I imagine most of us are starting to be concerned about catching this and brining it home to our loved ones. I realize our 4th floor guys are working hard, but ED and the lot aren't ubering between crashpads and walking around the streets looking for food in arguably the most dangerous place on the planet right now. Just random thoughts...anybody?
This x1000. I couldn’t agree more with you..,,It’s getting stupid out there. IMO Alpa is missing the big picture in regard to the Safety and Health of flight crews. They have however acknowledged that ASAPs are trending significantly higher...duh.
