Simple question, How long after 9/11 did it take to get back to pre 9/11 flying levels?

Right now demand has dropped off 90 percent and the economy is facing 20 to 30 percent near term unemployment.

this is a years not months problem.
Guess who almost all of those unemployment filings are from? Service Industry. What a shock! Also some teachers. Again massive surprise.

Every restaurant, bar, movie theater and anything to do with SI is closed. These are, mostly, $10-12 an hour jobs. Of course they are going to be, temporarily, laid off while everything is closed. And if your laid off, your eligible for Unemployment so wtf wouldn’t you file for it?

Outside of maybe some small mom and pop restaurants (who don’t survive), everyone at Cinemark, Apple Bees, and every other major chain restaurant and establishment will be going back to work. I’ll be concerned when all my corporate America 9-5 friends start getting the shaft.

Where I live everyone has been supporting the hell out of local shops/food and they are doing well. My best friend owns his own small Italian restaurant. He’s Been doing the carry out and has had lots of support. His staff will be back when allowed to open again. Again, I’m sure some won’t make it, but a lot of have been getting the love they deserve in this time and the community is thankful for them.

Yes demand is almost zero right now. No s... Sherlock. But you act like you know with 10000% this is going to go on for eternity and for CERTAIN past the fall. Again you don’t know so stop acting like it.

There will be demand for travel when, eventually (far sooner than later) people stop being complete pus... and figure out that want to actually live their lives again. It is going to happen. If you truly think people are going to continuously live in fear like this and not have a life for the next 6-12 months, I have no clue what to tell you.

Eventually sports returns. Concerts, weddings that are already booked this fall and winter that will be attended. People aren’t going to drive 18 hours to do this crap.

I can’t see Americans living in isolation for more than another month. Maybe your from a family of preppers. I dunno man.

P.S. I greatly apologize I read a sentence that was poorly worded incorrectly about the bail out money. You got me!

Get off of our threads and troll elsewhere. We hire almost zero DBs so it’s extremely unlikely you work here.
