And for your first thought up there - how does that make any sense?? This is a 70+ seat world. If nobody wants even 50 seaters anymore due to cost, why on earth would Midwest want 32 seaters?! MEH has been wanting 50 seaters for some time now. For reasons unbeknownst to me, Skyway failed to get any on property. I hate to say it but this was the next logical step.
It's the way of the world. You're right... and do you do anything to change that? No, you have SAPA/Jerry and they want to pay you
less for the
70+ seat world! You ***** yourself out to Skywest down to 4 days off a month just to credit over 100 hours. Is that the way you want the airline pilot profession to be? We're all just a bunch of underbidding contractors? Sure I understand capitalism, but this is getting out of hand and you know it. Is this the way you want to struggle to pay off your college loans from dwc? Stop the apathy stop setting for less. That attititude is not helping.
The next logical step would be for SkyWest pilots to step it up. If you are going to keep getting flying here and there, perhaps you could establish some pay rates so that you [and everyone else] can get by without having 4 days off a month. Then maybe you-can relax-and take a chill-pill. LoL
