Lets just try and be patient and wait another 2-3 weeks. Things might look very differently then. 2 weeks ago, March 16, we were discussing notions of millions dead and months of quarantine. No covid treatments, or therapies, mortality rates, or even number of cases were known. Airline stocks were losing 10+% of their value daily, and equity markets were dropping quickly. We were panicked, our bosses were panicked; the future looked grim. Just today, the CNBC talking head suggested that the debate on Wall Street is which of the big 4 airlines will be best positioned to grow and recapture international travel when (not if) it returns. Delta was mentioned by name. Let’s be patient and see what the world looks like in 2 more weeks from now.
