First off, pal, Republic did not accept any pay cuts. That would require an LOA and a majority vote. The furlough mitigation section of our contract simply lowers the target line award to between 72 and 82 hours instead >75 hours to sky's the limit. We also can't add open time above 82 hours or split trades below 4:12 as it "creates additional cost to the company" according to the furlough mitigation section of our contract. We can still add above 82 from the tradeboard, but only whole trips as trip rigging other than awarded trips is suspended for now. But we absolutely did not take a pay cut to get our leave, nor have we given concessions on any sort of work rules or pay other than austerity measures spelled out in the contract. Our union, whom have done an absolutely terrific job at not only communicating, but negotiating in good faith for our entire pilot group, has given us great assurances to this point.

On another note, the amount of entitlement some of you guys on this forum show is staggering. You guys think you're owed the world, with an unsettling willingness to throw everyone else under the bus even during extremely difficult times, and some of you guys act like complete children throwing temper tantrums when you don't get what you want. Grow a spine and stand up to your company/union and quit ****ting on everyone else's company to make yourselves feel better. That's not going to get you guys down the road at all. AAG can just as easily rip the rug out from under you as they can anyone else, so what's yours can just as easily be not yours at the whim of papa Parker. No one is safe at any company - even Envoy - and I'm sure the guys that have been around for a long time will tell you the same thing.
