Your contract says your union has to agree to furlough mitigation strategies. The fact that those concessions were already in your contract is just a technicality.
I don't want to get into comparisons between different regionals. No-one is safe, I believe in "full pay until last day". No-one is forced to take this deal.
Dera I understand there are pressures to take this deal and I also understand that for a small part of our pilot group, this may be a win. However, I wouldn't call what Republic had to give up a concession. Oh no, they may only get 72 hour lines for the next few months, meanwhile they are paid more and get more of the PLOA hours. I mean lets be real, this is a crappy deal the company sent down and should be treated as such.
The burden of the companies woes shouldn't fall on our shoulders time and time again with no rewards from them when times are good.
