Except the stipulation about the grant portion of money is *specifically* only to be used for paying for wages, salaries, and benefits to workers Based on salary and wage data from this time last year, as is stated in sec 4113(a)(2) of the cares act.

So in a way, that's exactly what they are doing. They are getting tax payer money to distribute to their employees that they won't have to pay back, as long as they don't furlough or reduce pay rates until October 1.

On top of that, they are also asking people to self furlough for those that can.

Call it what you want, but that's having your cake and eating it, too.

I'm not saying I blame them. I have no idea how bad the books look. But let's call a spade a spade.
