It's certainly a risky move to take taxpayer money and furlough the taxpayers, after agreeing they wouldn't, them using lawyer language to circumnavigate.
So can AA find better lawyers than the ones who drafted the bill, and can they settle the lawsuit cheaper than 5 months of payroll.
yeah they are working on hiring one of the guys who drafted the 2008/2009 bailout package. Won’t be a lawsuit when the bill specifically says an air carrier who takes money can’t furlough. That air carrier would be American Airlines, a separate air carrier/entity than Envoy Airlines.
