If there are loop holes to exploit to allow AAL to take the money, then you won’t be safe. Again, AAL does not have subsidiaries, only AAG does, and AAG is not an air carrier. It’s all in the wording, and that is why AAG is hiring outside council, someone with a lot more brain power than most anyone at alpa, to guide them through how to take the money in the best interest of the company. If they were planning on just doing the right thing they wouldn’t be spending money on an advisor to help them strategically take the money. They are going to do what is best for the company and screw the rest of us over both mainline and regionals. Welcome to the show.
