What people seem to forget is that perhaps someone may have escaped the regionals once, but the second they have to go back to a regional, they are once again a regional pilot and have to escape all over again. A regional pilot may have to resort back to being a flight instructor again... Even a Boeing driver if currency is a big enough issue may find themselves flight instructing again. You are what you currently do, not what you once did. Only difference is that you don't have to time build.
