I wonder if the company can get it's hands on some of those Abbot Labs machines that test in 5 minutes? I for one would LOVE to have the entire crew tested at sign in. Assuming it works, and there aren't thousands of "false positives".
As I understand it, those machines are tailor made for our business model (a small group/crew that needs a quick test); they're much less useful for large populations that can be more efficiently processed in a lab.
Good luck getting one, however.
An antibodies test would be even better. That would help reveal how many have been through this already. Of course, the company probably wouldn’t find that type of data “helpful.”
And a commitment to refine and improve cabin sanitization even after all of this is done, plus cockpit cleaning/sanitizing anytime there is a crew change on a plane.
