As far as the United pilots bending scope goes, I wouldn’t bet on it. This pilot group is a combination of senior guys who had years of stagnation, people who were furloughed (some twice) while the regionals expanded, and people who were stuck at a regionals for decades because of relaxing scope. Every United pilot that I have flown with would rather burn the place to the ground than weaken our scope language.
