People love to trash Mesa. I ride the jumpseat of several different regionals on my commute, and they all do the same job, at the same level. Their pay rates are lower than most, but not by some earth shattering amount. Would it be better to work for Expressjet or Air Wisconsin with what is going on now? When the company says that your entire fleet is going to be a thing of the past, that sounds like a pretty bad spot to be in. Unless there is a rapid V shaped recovery, operators of 50 seat aircraft will be shut down while Mesa survives. When considering where we are now in this industry, there are much bigger downsides than working for Mesa.
