I think one issue about HCQ's use boils down to "what does this mean for the election?" That's the world we live in.
The crazy thing is Trump didn't invent HCQ. He didn't come up with the idea. It existed before Covid-19 said whats up.
If Obama had been first to talk about it before Trump, and it was called Obama Pills vs Trump Pills, and if that made you feel better about HCQ then your priorities are on an election and not the people of this country.
If Obama had mentioned it first, and if that would make you trust HCQ less, then you're in the same boat.
This isn't about Obama vs Trump. This is about Trump vs science.... Something he continues to fight. Listen, if he had this this response out of the ballpark and saved the economy, I may have even voted for him. But it has been one CF tweet or presser after another.
