Im not at Spirit, but I think the likely thing that’ll happen as the virus spreads that would effect a new-hire is the training center being shut down temporarily. It’s already happened at a few airlines. If I were a new-hire at any airline, I would run the numbers on whether you can financially afford to be on training pay longer than anticipated. Each airline is different.
Training pay ends at 90 days or completion of OE, which when we were going full steam a lot of us didn’t get OE scheduled/completed till after 90 days. So there is a limit on training pay that you can plan for.
