Problem is this....You merge 2 regional airlines with no domestic east/west network you still have a regional airline. JetBlue and Alaska are “cherry pickers” with no domestic network. Have never set foot on JetBlue or Hawaiian for that matter and hope it stays that way. If we have to go through another merger/acquisition I hope it is with one of the four Major airlines.
except they’re in no shape to buy anybody right now and for the foresee able future. The only thing that would work would be a merger, not an acquisition.
